Key job responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal counsel for Just Walk Out technology initiatives, identifying potential risks and developing strategic mitigation approaches
- Advise on complex regulatory issues including payments, accessibility, and procurement compliance
- Negotiate technology agreements and contribute strategic input to business development
- Develop innovative legal strategies that balance risk management with technological innovation
- Support cross-functional teams in launching new products and features

Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Experience in private practice or in house experience at a technology company or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
- Experience in web services/cloud computing, software licensing, telecommunications or equivalent
- Experience with technology risk, IT security audit, compliance and/or relevant regulatory knowledge
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
- Experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication
- Experience with technology transactions, data privacy, procurement, or payments
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
