What is the opportunity?
To work on preparing market, strategic and financial analysis for Equity Capital Markets and Corporate Broking clients, as well as advising clients on their strategy and the successful implementation of transactions.
What will you do?
Assisting in execution of mandated dealsAssisting in preparation of marketing pitchbooks and related materialsUpdating clients with market movements and peer newsGathering and analysing public information to derive actionable insights for clientsConducting financial analysis (including but not limited to valuation, shareholder, and comparable analysis)Drafting marketing documents for clientsGeneral research on specific clients and sectorsWhat do you need to succeed?
Must have
University degree or equivalentAn understanding of financial markets and the role equity markets play for corporatesSound judgment, with strong analytical skillsInterpersonal skills with the ability to interact with clients at all levelsRigorous work ethic and willingness to invest time required to meet deadlines while completing assignments accuratelyKnowledge of Investment Banking services and the ability to apply them creatively to diverse client needsAdvanced computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPointSome information source experience: Bloomberg, Reuters, Thomson Financial, Capital IQ or FactsetNice to have
