Perform education and training of ICD9 and CPT4 coding principles to physicians and non-physician providers in a large group medical practice. Services from medicine, surgery, and diagnostic studies are included. Preparation will require completion of medical documentation audits and analysis of coding and billing patterns to determine the quality of current coding practice. The goal is to ensure compliance with federal, state, and private third-party payor coding and reimbursement policies. Success is dependent upon the ability to accurately code, audit, and teach so that expected results are achieved.
