Title: Associate Chemist Location: Mt. Laurel, NJ. Start Date: ASAP!! Duration: 6 Month Contract-to-Hire Hours: Mon-Fri; 8am-4:30pm Degree/Experience/"MUST HAVES": - BS degree in Chemistry with 6 months lab experience (school labs, internships/Co-Ops count towards this) OR High School Diploma or AS degree and 3+ yrs. relevant exp. in a lab setting - Must be able to pass the Cannabis Control Commission background check for Laboratory Agent registration. - Basic lab skills - Must be able to understand and follow laboratory safety standards - Must be able to wear gloves, lab coat, eye protection, sleeves, hearing protection, pesticide suit, plastic booties, dust masks, a respirator and a face mask - Willingness to learn and do repetitive tasks "Nice to Haves": - Previous laboratory testing of cannabis a plus Duties/Responsibilities: - Routine maintenance of laboratory equipment and instrument calibration. - Wash glassware used by the laboratory. - Accurate entry of sample data into LIMS. - Production of laboratory reagents and stocks. - Cannabis sample processing of flower, concentrates, extracts, and infused products. - Cannabis sample extraction & dilutions #m3 Ref: #558-Scientific System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, CM Access, TPGS, and MOUNTAIN, LTD., are leaders in delivering workforce solutions and integrated services across North America.
