It has evolved and expanded into diverse Business Service functions including Lilly Meetings & Congresses. ​ **​Lilly Meetings and Congresses (LMC)** is a centralized global meetings and congresses team that offers best in class, compliant and seamless execution of meetings and congresses, utilizing efficient tools and processes to accelerate business requirements and deliver outstanding customer experiences. We take care of all aspects of health care providers and employee meetings and congresses for all business areas such as Marketing, Medical, Sales and others, delivering an end-to-end support that includes strategic project management, consultancy, logistics planning and oversight, contracting, administrative and finance support, vendor management, on-site execution and facilitate transparency publication. ​ **​The Centralized Congress Team (CCT),** integral to Lilly Meetings and Congresses, is charged with delivering top-notch exhibit booths and managing sponsorships that exceed the congress goals of Lilly and our various Business Units/Therapeutic Areas. We oversee all aspects of congress organization, offering full support and seamless execution in the lead-up to and throughout the event. ​ **Responsibilities:** + ​​Serve as the exclusive Congress liaison for your designated congresses, leveraging your proficiency in project management to ensure exceptional delivery of congress exhibits and sponsorships. Cultivate robust partnerships with Lilly's internal business partners, vendor partners to ensure the congress implementation is in sync with the strategic goals of the Business Units. + ​Efficiently administer budgets for congresses, making certain that all decisions align with the allocated funds and booth strategy. Maintain transparent communication with internal stakeholders to make them conscious of fiscal limitations for responsible management of the booth construction and sponsorship. + ​Comply with Global Standards on Congress interactions with external parties and all other relevant Lilly policies and procedures. Be responsive for audit readiness and compliance requests. + ​Understand the congress agenda and the expectations of your business partner, as well as liaisons with the thought leader teams, and provide advice/best practices using project management expertise to ensure the congress is conducted successfully.  + ​Support the Congress program through different systems and tools focused on exhibit planning & sponsorships. Initiate and facilitate optimization opportunities connected with processes, systems, and people. + ​Establish and maintain internal strategic partnerships with compliance, finance, procurement, and other functions that can facilitate cross functional work. + ​Instill a sense of urgency by leading without authority and ensure all aspects of a congress meet and follow the Lilly Business Units strategy for the congress. + ​Contribute your finest efforts daily, both independently and as a collaborative team member.​ **Basic Requirements** + ​​Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent relevant working experience. + ​Minimum of 3 years of experience with congress management or project management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. + ​Knowledge and/or expertise using systems, applications or devices such as MS Office 365, SAP, Cvent, Project Management. + Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Over time, should be able to improve processes, procedures, and congress services.  + ​Possess the capability to influence both your direct colleagues and broader teams. + ​Might oversee projects of small to medium scale with moderate risk, requiring efficient and adaptable communication abilities that are outside your daily work in the congress space. ​ + ​Requires analysis of possible solutions to solve and anticipate a range of day-to-day problems including standard and non-standard requests. The anticipated wage for this position is $57,750 - $129,800 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
