JOB PURPOSE
As the Associate Category Strategy Manager, Walmart PC, you are responsible for supporting and executing objective strategic thought leadership and insights to drive solutions that accelerate growth for Walmart. You will assist in planning, coordinating and executing best in class category strategies. You will support the development of compelling strategies by translating insights into actionable recommendations that help Walmart’s key decision-makers drive shopper-focused growth and strengthen category leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Category Growth Initiatives: Assist in executing Walmart-specific category strategies across Personal Care, including support for modular planning, assortment decisions, and white space identification.Turn Insights into Action: Analyze data from syndicated and proprietary sources (e.g., Scintilla, Nielsen, Circana, Numerator, shopper panels) to uncover actionable insights and build compelling category stories.Think Consumer- and Social-First: Understand how shoppers discover and evaluate products across in-store and digital touchpoints, including the growing influence of social media and fulfillment mode preferences.Partner Across Teams: Collaborate with internal and Walmart merchant teams to align category recommendations with business goals and execution timelines.Deliver Clear Communication: Create impactful presentations and tools that translate complex data into persuasive, visually compelling selling stories.Drive Executional Excellence: Help ensure flawless delivery of category insights, strategy development, assortment transitions, and key category initiatives.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required1–3 years of experience in Category Management, Sales Strategy, Customer Development, or Shopper Insights (CPG experience strongly preferred, Walmart experience a plus)Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and act on large sets of dataFamiliarity with syndicated data sources such as Scintilla, Nielsen, Circana, Numerator, and shopper panelsUnderstanding of modular planning, assortment optimization, and the role of the digital shelfProficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and visualization toolsAbility to balance strategic thinking with attention to executional detailPay: The pay range for this position is $86,080 to $129,120. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
