This role requires cross-functional collaboration to evaluate performance, identify business opportunities and support annual planning cycle. You will work closely with Japan Consulting finance team to drive IBM's financial success as a team. Your primary responsibilities include: * Engage in monthly closing activities to ensure accuracy of financial statement in line with accounting principles * Provide financial analysis and management report by contract and/or portfolio * Analyze actual performance, forecast and key business metrics including trend analysis * Provide financial consultation and advisories to Japan Consulting line of business teams * Collaborate with WW and other geography teams to accelerate simplification and automation **Required technical and professional expertise** Ÿ Minimum 3 years’ working experience in FP&A and Corporate Finance functions Ÿ Experienced in Microsoft tools (Excel/PowerPoint) and Data Analytics tools (i.e., SPSS and QMF) Ÿ Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Japanese Ÿ Demonstrated expertise in analyzing financial data with a sense of urgency Ÿ Proactive and collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams in international environment **Preferred technical and professional experience** Ÿ Developing financial modeling to enhance accuracy and transparency of forecast Ÿ Experience in process improvement, automation and applying technology to financial analysis Ÿ Working knowledge in US-GAAP, Japan statutory accounting and tax rules and business controls like SOX IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
