This role will have a particular focus on people and resource management, together with the delivery of projects measured through technical quality and financial performance. The position will be to the report to Head of the Discipline in WSP. The successful candidate, working together with the resource, will bring their expertise, capability and engineering knowledge to provide commercial and technical leadership to our existing teams and facilitate additional growth to enable the business to meet client needs. You will be a member of the GCC Transportation and Infrastructure Senior Management Team, required to demonstrate collaborative behaviours to support the development and enhancement of the wider business. You will be responsible for the technical, operational, financial and commercial delivery of projects undertaken by your team. + Technical and Management Excellence of engineering design and delivery of projects taking account of Health & Safety + Project management and technical delivery lead, lead teams and help with the operational management, resource and project management, produce technical specifications and reports. + Manage projects and attend client meetings and resolve technical issues. + Agree Priorities and deadlines; ensure timely delivery within fee allocation + Manage the production, meet the deadlines and produce high quality submission + Align work with WoW and maintain Document Control for all work + Proactively raising and resolving queries by identifying necessary inputs from others + Use non-project time productively by team training to improve software & technical skills + Design solutions, execution details, analysis and design of the structures; Prepare repair/ rehabilitation of existing structures + Check & ensure the quality of the documents and adhere to contract deadlines + Check & approve drawing as per design and specifications + Ensure timely & quality delivery of designs as per the defined standards to the clients + Manage design and drawings productions + Archiving of data drawings and report management + Correlation with all the activities in the department. + Education - Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status of a recognized professional institution + M.Tech/M.E/B.Tech/B.E. (Civil/Structural) + Excellent comunication skills. + Experience in international standards (AASHTO, AREMA, BS / DMRB & Eurocodes). + Have experience to work / supervise on Bridge Design Software's like MIDAS Civil and LUSAS. + Experience to work in/with other cultures for delivery of major infrastructure projects. + Have respect for deadlines and achieve targeted results whilst working individually as-well-as leading a small group of team members. + Project management and technical delivery lead, lead teams and help with the operational management, resource and project management, produce technical specifications and reports
