**The Opportunity**
This position works out of our Mississauga, Ontario location in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division. We're focused on helping people with diabetes, manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We're revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.
**What You'll Do**
+ Help define, manage, and track marketing strategy and promotional plan for the HCP marketing team.
+ Work with HCP marketing team to develop new resources/tools aimed at healthcare professionals.
+ Collaborate and coordinate with the marketing, communication and other ADC divisions for shared conferences and events.
+ Interact with external partners such as creative agency, internal resources (local and international) and Global Strategic Marketing
+ Track marketing project expenses and assist in managing the budget.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree required
+ At least 2 years of marketing/product management experience preferred
+ Knowledge of Canadian healthcare landscape
+ Knowledge of brand and market dynamics, knowledge of financial processes, familiarity with GCP/SOP, etc.
+ Provide customer service excellence.
+ Excel at research, possesses excellent writing skills and the ability to build editorial content and technical writing.
+ Experience sourcing and managing content development.
+ Ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment.
+ Outstanding attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
+ Ability to communicate results to management and in a fast-paced environment.
+ Possess strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
+ Excellent presentation skills
+ Independent thinking, resourcefulness and problem-solving.
