Associate Brand Manager

Job Summary

The Associate Brand Manager participates in the development and execution of Papa Johns' marketing strategy aligned with overall business objectives.  the role is responsible to lead the development, execution, and optimization of core products and value-driven programs that drive traffic and profitable growth.

 

Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)

•    Lead the development of value-focused programs including national flash sale promotions 
•    Advise on owned channel promotions and CRM calendar to align with national promotional calendar
•    Oversee core menu item optimizations and deletions, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision-making and optimization
•    Act as primary liaison for national beverage partnerships and assortment
•    Champion development of innovation related to cultural activations and stunts 
•    Manage stage gate process for projects related to menu optimizations, deletions, cultural activation products, and beverages
•    Contribute to the development of the national promotional calendar, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
•    Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and results to assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies, specific to those within the core menu as well as value promotions, specifically for flash sales
•    Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to inform marketing initiatives
•    Lead the development of comprehensive integrated Go-To-Market plans for value promotions, outlining role of promotion, messaging hierarchy, campaign objectives, target audience, and key performance indicators
•    Work closely across teams including creative, content, owned and earned to ensure Go-To-Market plans align with strategic goals
•    Analyze customer experience and market data to identify insights that are translated into actionable tasks to achieve marketing goals  
 

​Education, Experience & Certifications

2 – 4 years minimum marketing experience; food marketing or innovation experience preferred  

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field  

Ability to travel up to 25%  

Experience in Restaurant or Retail Operations preferred, passion for company brand  

Understanding of marketing/brand/product development management principles
