DaVita is currently looking for an Associate Business Analyst for our billing systems setup team in the Revenue Operations Department.  Individuals who excel in this role are highly ambitious, results driven, and willing to "think outside the box."  This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work well as part of a fast-paced team.

The ideal candidate has a high level of multitasking abilities, strong analytical skills, and is driven by resolving various payer and system setup issues with the goal to “get it right the first time”. This position will support analysis through aggregating data, resolving revenue issues, improving processes and developing/distributing recurring reports as needed to drive improvements across one or more of the business teams within Revenue Operations.

Hybrid and remote position available. All necessary equipment is provided.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analysis & Technical

Supports lower complexity analysis by utilizing data to identify trends or recommend opportunity areasIdentifies & evaluates specific claims or patient records relevant for an analysis or report utilizing a combination of business knowledge and tools such as Excel, SQL and TableauTroubleshoots issues or data errors with guidanceSupports reviewing of requirements & participates in UAT processes as needed

Problem Solving

Supports the solving of business problems and analytics by executing on outlined approach & utilizing business subject matter expertise (ex. Identifying how a system enhancement can solve a business need)Synthesizes analysis takeaways and visualizes with guidance

Project & Stakeholder Management

Participates actively in all working sessionsSends recaps from meetingsMaintains up to date documentation for reports, processes and analysis assumptionsKeeps track of assigned work & balances multiple priorities in order to complete work timelyPartners with stakeholders by clearly responding to questions and keeping them informed of necessary updates

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent required5+ years’ experience with accounting, transactions or medical billing systems a plusHealth care and medical billing/collections/overpayment remediation or experience is preferredKnowledge or experience working with a variety of health care insurance payers is preferredIntermediate computer proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook

Salary/ Wage Range

$27.00 - $39.50 / hour

If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position. • New York Exempt: • New York City and Long Island: $64,350.00/year • Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $64,350.00/year • Remainder of New York state: $60,405.80/year New York Non-exempt: • New York City and Long Island: $16.50/hour • Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $16.50/hour • Remainder of New York state: $15.50/hour Washington Exempt: $77,968.80/year Washington Non-exempt: • Bellingham: $17.66/hour • Burien: $21.16/hour • Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour • Renton: $20.90/hour • Seattle: $20.76/hour • Tukwila: $21.10/hour • Remainder of Washington state: $16.66/hour
