Associate Account Director, Regional

Main Responsibilities:

Actively prospect and leverage potential new business opportunities within specified potential new and/or existing Customers/AccountsProactively reach out and network within network in in the pharma industry to establish relationships and to identify potential opportunitiesWork with Sales Management to prioritize and execute a comprehensive sales/account plan for targeted accounts / clientsWork closely with clients to uncover their needs and evaluate targeted business solutions / approach for their business challengesTrack and monitor key clients’ actions (regionally with local key account managers) and to ensure ROI against plansTrack and monitor status of leads and opportunities to ensure a healthy pipeline of opportunities is generated and maintainedLead the sales process; prepare and lead weekly, monthly & quarterly sales reports and presentationsLead all contracting (with legal and finance departments) to ensure payment terms, invoicing and project milestones are in line with clients’ Global Master Service AgreementsWork with subject matter experts / principals across all business offerings to build on new business opportunities with existing and new clientsCoordinate with subject matter experts / principals on new business and account follow upsCoordinate with Global Account Directors and the global and regional account teams to ensure regional business operations and escalation plans are aligned internallyCoordinate with commercial director and regional account leads to increase share of wallet of target accounts and provide feasible solutions to clientsMust be a self-starter with motivation to drive proactive approach with clients for new business and ensure smooth business operations for each accountPlan and coordinate GTM strategy with subject matter experts / principals to capitalize on potential new business opportunities (inc. upselling current accounts)Report all sales related activities in CRM system for all new business opportunities and proposalsServe as a liaison between the customer and technical and operational groups at IQVIA to trouble shoot and find operational solutions for external and internal stakeholders

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Science or related discipline, preferably with a Masters in Science or BusinessAt least 7-10 years of account management/ business development experience/solution selling (preferably in Pharma industry or with a service provider supporting the pharma industry and providing consulting services)Strong analytic experience with data, preferably with understanding of pharmaceutical therapeutic classes.Experience with the Pharma Clients / Market (pharma trends, Real World Evidence, Digital and Tech Healthcare applications, etc)Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite: MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS Outlook, and Internet)Excellent understanding of Healthcare business and pharma industry trends and ability to translate relevant trends into potential business opportunitiesExcellent analytical skills in assessing and interpreting customer business and account / sales dataExcellent communication skills (written and verbal). Comfortable presenting to large groups (internal and external stakeholders)Excellent analytical and research skillsMust be self-directed and capable of prioritizing opportunities and performing multiple tasksExceptional attention to detail (particularly for financial and pharma healthcare data)Ability to maintain demanding timelines and navigate a complex matrix organisationAbility to work independently. Comfortable to prioritize manage time efficiently between business development, account management and day to day operationsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
