Associate Account Director, Regional
**Main Responsibilities:** + Actively prospect and leverage potential new business opportunities within specified potential new and/or existing Customers/Accounts + Proactively reach out and network within network in in the pharma industry to establish relationships and to identify potential opportunities + Work with Sales Management to prioritize and execute a comprehensive sales/account plan for targeted accounts / clients + Work closely with clients to uncover their needs and evaluate targeted business solutions / approach for their business challenges + Track and monitor key clients’ actions (regionally with local key account managers) and to ensure ROI against plans + Track and monitor status of leads and opportunities to ensure a healthy pipeline of opportunities is generated and maintained + Lead the sales process; prepare and lead weekly, monthly & quarterly sales reports and presentations + Lead all contracting (with legal and finance departments) to ensure payment terms, invoicing and project milestones are in line with clients’ Global Master Service Agreements + Work with subject matter experts / principals across all business offerings to build on new business opportunities with existing and new clients + Coordinate with subject matter experts / principals on new business and account follow ups + Coordinate with Global Account Directors and the global and regional account teams to ensure regional business operations and escalation plans are aligned internally + Coordinate with commercial director and regional account leads to increase share of wallet of target accounts and provide feasible solutions to clients + Must be a self-starter with motivation to drive proactive approach with clients for new business and ensure smooth business operations for each account + Plan and coordinate GTM strategy with subject matter experts / principals to capitalize on potential new business opportunities (inc. upselling current accounts) + Report all sales related activities in CRM system for all new business opportunities and proposals + Serve as a liaison between the customer and technical and operational groups at IQVIA to trouble shoot and find operational solutions for external and internal stakeholders Requirements: + Bachelor's Degree in Business, Science or related discipline, preferably with a Masters in Science or Business + At least 7-10 years of account management/ business development experience/solution selling (preferably in Pharma industry or with a service provider supporting the pharma industry and providing consulting services) + Strong analytic experience with data, preferably with understanding of pharmaceutical therapeutic classes. + Experience with the Pharma Clients / Market (pharma trends, Real World Evidence, Digital and Tech Healthcare applications, etc) + Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite: MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS Outlook, and Internet) + Excellent understanding of Healthcare business and pharma industry trends and ability to translate relevant trends into potential business opportunities + Excellent analytical skills in assessing and interpreting customer business and account / sales data + Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Comfortable presenting to large groups (internal and external stakeholders) + Excellent analytical and research skills + Must be self-directed and capable of prioritizing opportunities and performing multiple tasks + Exceptional attention to detail (particularly for financial and pharma healthcare data) + Ability to maintain demanding timelines and navigate a complex matrix organisation + Ability to work independently.
