OVERVIEW OF THE DEPARTMENT/SECTION
The Securitised Products & Supply Chain Finance (SP&SCF) team provides innovative financing solutions for Corporate, FI’s and Sponsor clients across EMEA. Their products include receivables, supply chain, inventory finance leveraging MUFG’s balance sheet and public securitisations to meet diverse client needs.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Supporting the origination, execution and management of Supply Chain Finance, Inventory Finance and Prepayment Finance solutions in the Securitised Products & Supply Chain Finance (SP&SCF) team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Origination of new Supply Chain Finance, Inventory and Prepayment Finance transactions collectively referred to as ‘Working Capital Finance’ solutions to existing and prospective new clients of MUFG in EMEA.Prepare marketing materials to assist in origination of new Working Capital Finance transactionsSupport the preparation and coordination of responses to client RFP’s, RFI’s and due diligence requests, ensuring timely, accurate, and compelling submissions, while partnering with the broader SCF team to help continuously improve this process.Support analytics of working capital metrics to prepare thoughtful solution-based client pitchesSupport growth of Working Capital Finance product through New Product Approvals or “white papers”Prepare and present internal Deal Screening submissions and prepare Structural Risk Memoranda in respect of new and renewed transactions for Working Capital Finance productsWork with the Working Capital Distribution team to assist in the syndication of all new transactions by preparing investor term sheets, teasers and joining investor calls to explain the structureManage the documentation process, review, discuss/liaise with internal and external legal counsel (as appropriate), and negotiate with the client, relevant documentation for new transactions, renewals and amendments for allocated transactions in compliance with the bank’s credit and operation rules.Review transaction documentation and prepare the pre-signing and post-closing checklists to ensure smooth and accurate and efficient transfer of monitoring tasks to the monitoring teamDevelop and maintain a strong network of partnerships with distribution, credit, relationship teams, and other product teams, including support functions within MUFG, in order to effectively grow and sustain the franchise.Contribute to internal projects / strategic initiatives designed to improve the GCIB Securitised Products and Supply Chain Finance team and Bank’s efficiency and performance.Provide guidance to junior colleagues in relation to specific projects or tasks.Assist in maintaining a record of Working Capital Finance portfolio revenues, exposure, utilisation and profitabilitySupport management of London booked portfolio of SCF transactions by doing annual capital and credit committee approvalsWORK EXPERIENCE

Financial Services Industry first line experience (minimum 3 years)Knowledge of Supply Chain Finance and Inventory Finance is a plus (particularly in the EMEA region)Understanding of credit fundamentals and Financial Analysis experience is preferredSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
