The Role

Within our Processing Support Services team at SIS, you'll be a strong team player, collaborating with a team to monitor and evaluate the day-to-day operations of IT hardware, software, and/or application solutions and deliverables. You’ll be involved early to offer solutions, help decide whether something can be done, and identify the technical and timeline risks up front. This means dealing with both client expectations and internal challenges – in other words, there are plenty of opportunities to make a difference, and a lot of people will witness your contributions. You'll investigate, solve complex problems, identify potential issues and strategies to optimize processes and allow key stakeholders to make informed decisions, across the spectrum of platforms and services, to meet the needs of a business and our clients.

Who You Are

Position Requirements

This position requires flexibility & willingness to work rotational shifts, as the team offers 24/7/365, including holidays, weekends, & overnights.

Though remote based, there may be expectations to report to site within GTA.


Required Experience and Qualifications

Familiar with a variety of IT concepts, practices, and procedures.

Exceptional judgment and decision-making abilities and proven abilities to manage and prioritize tasks for completion under extremely tight deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).

Web conferencing experience and etiquette, using tools such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams.


Preferred Experience and Qualifications

Experience working with cross-functional teams in a IT environment.

Understanding of systems, storage, networking and security, application and databases and data center technology.

Experience in software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture.

System monitoring and ability to perform problem diagnosis and resolution.

Incident management, operations, and IT support experience.

Relevant education or equivalent work experience.
