Associate, Seasonal Lead Trainer 2nd Shift
**Must be a current VF associate to apply.** **Ontario DC – Associate, Trainer** **Compensation for this position is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications. ** **Description:** This role will be responsible for the upkeeping, maintaining and execution of all training materials, records and assist in the development of all current and future VF associates, leads and managers. The trainer will collaborate cross-functionally to enhance the safety, efficiency and effectiveness of current training materials and processes. The trainer will also participate in the creation and execution of developmental tools for the building. + _Onboarding and training new employees, ensuring they understand warehouse_ _operations and safety procedures, and maintaining training materials._ + _Train and teach all aspects of Operations_ + _Ensure consistency in training proper procedures for each department_ + _Facilitate training sessions based on weekly departmental training requirements_ _and building needs as well as cross training when needed._ + _Facilitate Safety Courses and safety re-trains_ + _Review training compliance reports to help identify training opportunities_ + _Identify areas for improvement for associates and provide additional training_ _support where needed_ + _Evaluate associate performances throughout the training program and give recommendations to Operations_ + _Effectively present and facilitate course content to associates in a positive manner_ + _Proficiently assist in developing training materials_ + _Review current Standard Operating Procedures for accuracy and request updates as_ + _needed_ + _Ensure all training documents are updated as processes are added or changed_ + _Develop strategic partnerships with Operations and Support leadership to ensure training meets the needs of both_ + _Conduct cross training of associates into different areas as needed_ + _Help with weekly coaching and give tips to help improve employee performance._ + _Ensure consistency in training proper procedures for each department_ + _Creating Training Materials for SOP & Job Aids to support training programs._ + _Operate with confidentiality_ + _Assist with any Continuous Improvement projects_ + _Serve as potential proxy for Continuous Improvement Manager_ + _Assist with development of tools and participate in data collection_ + _High level time management_ + _Ability to work independently to meet tight deadlines_ + _Create and execute upward level training materials and level up trainings_ + _Equipment Certifications: Certifying employees to operate powered industrial_ + _trucks._ **What do you need to succeed?** **The foundation skills you will need in this position are:** + _Two plus years training/work experience preferred_ + _Possess organizational and planning skills_ + _Ability to communicate in a professional manner_ + _Ability to work under minimum supervision, multi-task, and meet regular deadlines_ + _Ability to stand, walk, bend and pull for entire 10–12-hour shift_ + _Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) preferred_ + _Ability to present to all levels of employees with confidence_ + _High attention to detail with the ability to problem solve_ + _Ability to change with minimal notice_ + _Ability to build relationships_ **Special Requirements** : + Able to work various shifts and weekends if necessary. **Warehouse environment** : Must be physically capable of working in conditions normally associated with a merchandise warehouse or distribution center, such as, but not limited to, warm and cold temperatures, seeing and hearing moving equipment to stay out of harms way, and continuous power equipment noise.
