**Job Title:** Associate, Rights & Permissions **Job Description:** This role centers on learning and reliably carrying out basic licensing support tasks, such as logging asset requests, entering standard license data, and helping prepare documentation packets under close guidance. This role aligns with industry titles such as Rights & Permissions Assistant, Rights & Permissions associate. **The Role:** As a new Associate within Rights and Permissions, this role centers on learning and reliably carrying out basic licensing support tasks. These include logging asset requests, entering standard license and usage data, and assisting in the preparation of documentation packets under close guidance. The Associate’s work supports the broader team by ensuring that initial information is accurately and consistently captured in Pearson systems such as IPM, Blueprint, and related tools, and by flagging any visible gaps or missing elements in the documentation provided. Direct supervision is continuous, with most assignments clearly defined and step-by-step guidance available. Immediate feedback is provided on task execution, accuracy, and adherence to established processes. The subject matter primarily relates to computer technology (including software, coding, AI, and related areas), so an interest in or basic familiarity with such topics is considered a plus. **Key Performance Indicators** Positive performance at this entry level is demonstrated through the correct and timely completion of assigned data entry, filing, and checklist-based documentation activities. Work should be completed with minimal errors requiring correction or intervention, and in line with defined quality and process standards. **About You:** **Behavioral Expectations** The Associate is expected to communicate clearly and proactively with team members when seeking clarification on asset usage, licensing details, or documentation steps. Training will be provided for all tasks and systems used in the role.
