Job Summary 

This position focuses exclusively on commercial real estate sales transactions within the JLL Capital Markets Industrial group. The Associate will be involved in all transaction stages including underwriting, preparation of offering memoranda, and closing processes. A key responsibility includes training and leading analysts on Investment Sales Advisory (ISA) underwriting. This role operates in a high-energy, team-focused environment with significant opportunities for professional growth. 

Main Responsibilities 

Develop and execute complex financial modeling for commercial real estate transactions using market data and JLL resources to ensure accurate underwriting 

Prepare and oversee the creation of comprehensive investment advisory and financing packages 

Utilize databases effectively to identify market trends and prepare compelling materials for client pitches and meetings 

Review and analyze real estate documents (leases, loan documents, appraisals, etc.) to identify potential issues and concerns 

Participate actively in weekly office meetings with Producers to discuss deal flow, transaction status, and market conditions 

Lead weekly analyst meetings to provide guidance, answer questions, and develop future talent 

Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of JLL's integrated service lines and cross-selling opportunities 

Mentor junior associates and analysts in sophisticated real estate underwriting and financial modeling techniques 

Support industrial capital markets team in business development and client relationship management 

Exposure to institutional clients and complex transaction structures 

Opportunity to develop industry specialization within the industrial sector 

Stay current with industrial real estate market trends, pricing, and investor preferences 

Experience Required 

3+ years of experience in financial analysis; commercial real estate investment sales or industrial sector experience preferred 

Proven track record of transaction execution and financial modeling expertise 

Self-motivated professional with exceptional time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple deadlines 

Excellent organizational, quantitative, and communication capabilities 

Ability to interface confidently with senior executives and institutional clients 

Demonstrated skill in effectively communicating complex analytical and marketing data 

Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail 

Capacity to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team approach 

Experience in industrial real estate transactions is highly valued 

Education 

Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience) 

MBA is considered a plus, but not required 

Industry certifications (CCIM, SIOR) are beneficial but not required 

Computer Skills 

Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) 

Advanced proficiency in Argus and Microsoft Excel (including complex financial modeling) 

Database management experience a plus 

Experience with CRM systems and property research platforms beneficial 

Estimated total compensation for this position:

70,000.00 – 85,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
