Within CIBC Global Markets, the ASG team specializes in developing innovative, technology-driven capital markets solutions. This unique group combines the agility and innovative spirit of a FinTech startup with the financial strength and governance protocols of a major financial institution. ASG is recognized as a global leader in providing disruptive technological solutions across various product areas, including Cross Border Payments, Dynamic Currency Conversion, and Foreign Cash white labeling. We are looking for an energetic individual with an entrepreneurial spirit to help build our Conversion Services business- a leading FX product portfolio within ASG consisting of two teams. In this fast-paced environment, you will join as an associate the FX Conversion team a dynamic, hard-working, and execution-focused product team. Together, you will provide market-leading services to foreign financial institutions, enabling them to convert commercial and retail payments across multiple jurisdictions through a sophisticated, in-house-developed platform that leverages advanced algorithms and account code logic. Since its inception, the team has established partnerships with more than 50 financial institutions and made significant investments in technology infrastructure to become the market leader in this space. You will deepen these connections by anticipating your clients’ business needs and acting as a trusted advisor through a consultative approach. By regularly engaging with clients to review product performance, discuss technical projects, and present value-adding initiatives, you ensure that their evolving requirements are met and that you consistently deliver meaningful solutions. + **Advancing Sales Pipeline:** You will actively engage prospects, pitch products, originate deals, and lead implementation projects, ensuring a smooth transition from initial contact through to production. You will collaborate closely with the distribution team to support the sales cycle, which includes preparing client-facing presentations, conducting analyses, and providing your product expertise. By working together, you help advance the sales pipeline and contribute to the success of both new client acquisition and ongoing sales initiatives. + **Leveraging Analytical Skills:** You will leverage your analytical skills to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns in complex data sets, providing actionable recommendations and insights that drive informed decision-making. You will continuously monitor and analyze client portfolio performance and relevant economic factors, ensuring routine reporting and promptly detecting any anomalies. Additionally, you will conduct comprehensive market research to identify and analyze business trends and uncover new growth opportunities, enabling you and your team to stay ahead in a dynamic environment. + **Collaborating within Cross-Functional Teams:** You will collaborate within cross-functional teams by mentoring and supporting your colleagues through knowledge sharing, open collaboration, and effective problem-solving. You will also focus on building strong internal relationships with stakeholders across distribution, delivery, technology, and other key functions, ensuring that everyone works together to achieve shared goals and drive collective success. **Who You Are** + **You have an undergraduate university** degree in business, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) or related field, MBA is an asset. + **You can demonstrate 3-5 years’ experience** working in capital markets, foreign exchange, payments, and financial technology. + **You can demonstrate 3+ years of professional experience** with a strong record of accomplishment of stakeholder relationship building and management, business analysis, and project execution.
