Role Description
This role presents an opportunity to work within Brookfield’s real estate platform across Asia-Pacific with a primary focus on value-add and opportunistic corporate-level and direct real estate acquisitions in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Specific responsibilities include performing complex financial analysis and valuations, conducting public and private market research, assisting with due diligence, writing investment committee memorandum, presenting investment recommendations and monitoring portfolio investments.
As part of a growing franchise, candidates will have the opportunity to work closely with senior management, Brookfield affiliates (investment professionals from other business areas within Brookfield’s real estate platform) and external business partners.
Qualifications / Experience / Skills
Robust work ethic, strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and proactively with moderate guidance
Prior analytical experience in investment banking, M&A, corporate finance and/or investment management businesses and its equivalents
Bachelor’s degree and above in finance, business, science, technology, engineering, mathematics or a related field required
Native English language capability required, with additional Asian language capabilities optional but preferred
