Webster Bank is looking for someone to join our team as the Internal Branch Client Support Associate. In this position, you will accurately and efficiently process all transactions in the Internal Branch for specialized customer products. Additionally, you will provide exceptional Customer Service and sales support to Internal (Commercial Teams/Financial Centers) and External clients, vendors, and other institutions.
Key Responsibilities for the role:
15% -- Support the Commercial Sales Teams/Financial Center colleagues and process all Tenant Lease Security transactions daily by opening, closing, and making deposits and adjustments to these accounts. Ensure service requests received meet the departmental service level agreement (SLA). Prepare closeout/withdrawal requests and submit to the Cashiering Department to send bank checks to clients.
20% -- While working on-site, process Rent Security requests received in the mail which includes new accounts, additional deposits and account updates. Scan and upload processed Tenant Lease Security documentation into the Nautilus application for future document retrieval. Process and submit credit tickets for approval and scan transactions through Branch Capture to affect all accounts. 15% -- Process service requests received regarding escrow accounts, resident/nursing home accounts, preneed accounts, 1031 accounts, municipality accounts, and Iola/Iolta accounts. Open new accounts, perform transfers, and closing transactions for these products. Create funds transfer via (B)atch (T)ransaction (E)ntry files and transmit confirmation receipt to clients via email/fax.
15% -- Process escrow and rent security transaction requests received from clients via email and fax and prepare BTE files for funds transfer in a timely manner. Transmit confirmation receipt to clients via email and fax.
5% -- Process monthly service charge posting sheets for clients received via service request. Process monthly transfer posting sheets received from clients via email for debit and credit transactions to resident/nursing home savings accounts.
5% -- Internal DDA account opening and closing for Webster Bank upon request received from colleagues. Open new interLink accounts for clients of Webster Bank as requested.
5% -- Open new Insured Cash Sweep Accounts upon requests received from the Treasury Management Dept. Perform maintenance on these accounts to include Admin user update, interest rate updates, transfers on MMDA accounts and liquidations.
5% -- Ensure the collection of all documentation needed for a new Rent Security Relationship is complete and notification is sent to Commercial Sales Teams/Financial Center colleagues regarding Beneficial Ownership requirements.
10% -- Annually prepare Administrative Fee payout to all Agents/Landlords incurred for the year. Process credits to operating account on file and submit payout detail to the Cashiering Department for Bank Checks needed for those clients with no operating account on file.
10% -- Provide prompt customer service via email, fax and the telephone to all clients and Financial Center/Commercial Sales Team colleagues, answering questions, taking requests to make changes to accounts, statement requests, and requests for research.
5% -- Perform other job duties as needed to support the department.
Key Skills/Experience Required:
For this position, you must have at least 1 year of experience in Customer Service.
Candidates with an advanced degree - Associates, Bachelors, Masters, etc. - preferred, yet a High School Diploma or GED is required. Candidates with some combination of coursework and experience, or else extensive related professional experience, are eligible for consideration.
Customer service skills, ability, and willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced working environment and paying attention to detail.
Ability to process a high volume of transactions accurately and quickly.
Excellent data entry skills. Brief knowledge of basic accounting skills.
Excellent telephone and communication skills.
Experience with all Microsoft applications.
The estimated salary range for this position is $22.00 USD to $24.00 USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
