About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 07 About the Role: Associate, ETF Product Management, Equity and Benchmarking Solutions The Team: S&P Global Market Intelligence partners with customers to broaden their perspective and operate with confidence by bringing them leading data sources and technologies that embed insight in their daily work. Within Equity Benchmark Services (EBS) we validate and provide ETF and index data. Our clients are world’s leading Investment Banks, Asset Managers, Fund Administrators, Prime Brokers, and Hedge Funds. Our operations global team is based in Hong Kong, Singapore, India, London, and New York to service clients around the clock. Responsibilities: You will be a key member of the Equity Benchmark Services within the Product and Operations team, working with cross functional teams on data enhancement. Key responsibilities include: Validate the accuracy of ETF data received from various sources. Ensure that this information is stored in databases accurately and on time. Respond to data queries from both internal and external clients and provide support to stakeholders. Monitor and research market events to anticipate changes. Ensure a deep understanding of the markets and business events. Perform automated/semi-automated checks to ensure production of high-quality content. Produce daily calculations, reports, and daily ETFs to distribute to clients. Identify data quality improvement projects, and good design practices. Create and Validate Portfolio Composition Files (PCFs). Monitor various validations within PCFs and ensure accuracy of data like NAV and expected cash values etc. Contribute to the team effort. What We’re Looking For: Requirements: You are analytical thinker with attention to detail and you enjoy making an impact towards new solutions, with great verbal and written communication skills. You are hardworking and able to multitask efficiently. You are a vital team player that works well individually. Key Qualifications and Skills: Graduate degree/ Postgraduate or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science (ideally but open to others). Intermediate Excel and basic SQL, Python also desirable. 2+ years of business operations experience and must be flexible in addressing dynamic business needs. Has the ability to lead by example and be collaborative with the global team. Understanding Index/ETF and Corporate Actions. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong work ethic, high energy individual, keen to learn, a self-starter. Flexibility and attitude to meet tight deadlines. Strong time management skills and ability to effectively multitask.
