Assoc Director-Technology II
**Job Description:** **Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director for Mobility Core to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of our mobile core network infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of mobile network technologies, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives to enhance our mobile network services, including 5G, IMS, messaging and voicemail. **Key Responsibilities:** + Develop and execute strategic plans for the mobility core network to support current and future business requirements. + Oversee the design, testing and certification of mobile core network components. + Manage and coordinate multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and alignment with organizational goals. + Collaborate with vendors and partners to evaluate, select, and integrate new technologies and solutions into the mobility core network. + Oversee the resolution of network issues, ensuring minimal disruption to services and effective communication with stakeholders. + Ensure that the mobile core network complies with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security best practices. + Stay abreast of the latest developments in mobile network technologies and drive innovation to enhance network capabilities and services. + Implement and manage network virtualization (NFV) strategies to optimize the deployment and scaling of network functions. + Demonstrate strong people management skills by fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment, addressing team members' needs, and ensuring clear communication and alignment with organizational goals. + Lead, mentor and develop high performing teams by fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability & continuous growth. + Drive workforce planning, performance management and employee engagement to align with organizational goals. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. + At least 15+ years of experience in mobile core network design, implementation, and management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. + In-depth knowledge of mobile core network technologies, including LTE, EPC, IMS, and 5G.
