**Role Summary**
The Associate Director of Analytics is a strategic team leader responsible for driving data powered decision making, operational intelligence, and automation across the Mass Markets Supply Chain, including forward logistics, reverse logistics, and wireline operations. This role owns the analytical backbone supporting multi billion dollar device and CPE spend, operations running tens of millions of units per year, retail inventory and shrink optimization, forecasting accuracy, and the KPI ecosystem leveraged by AVP, VP, COO, and CEO leadership. The leader will scale advanced analytics, embed AI into business processes, and solve complex operational problems that directly impact AT&T’s performance.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Analytics Strategy & Execution
+ Develop a unified analytics strategy that delivers accurate forecasting, real time visibility, and actionable insights across mobility, CPE, retail, and reverse logistics.
+ Build scalable data architecture and ensure a single version of truth across Snowflake, DNA, Power BI, and operational systems.
+ AI, Automation & Advanced Problem Solving
+ Identify high value problems across the supply chain and design analytical/AI based solutions to address them (e.g., shrink prediction, routing intelligence, anomaly detection, forecasting automation).
+ Lead the integration of AI/ML into daily operations—automating insights, standardizing decision logic, and reducing manual effort across teams.
+ Partner with engineering and product teams to migrate legacy analytics into modern, automated pipelines.
+ Financial & Operational Intelligence
+ Lead forecasting and planning, improving accuracy and enabling proactive procurement decisions.
+ Oversee shrink analytics and implement models and countermeasures that reduce losses across retail, logistics, and vendor networks.
+ Deep dive into monthly financials to identify anomalies and trends against budgets.
+ Executive Reporting & KPI Leadership
+ Own KPI frameworks and dashboards that measure performance, guide investment decisions, and provide real time operational visibility to senior leadership.
+ Deliver concise insights that simplify complexity, highlight risks/opportunities, and influence strategy.
+ Cross Functional Leadership
+ Lead a blended team of analysts and program managers delivering analytics, insights, and automation for the enterprise.
+ Collaborate with Retail, Mobility, Finance, Reverse Logistics, 3PL partners, and Transformation to solve problems and deliver end to end improvements.
**Qualifications**
+ 8+ years in analytics, data science, supply chain, finance, or related fields.
+ Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems using data, modeling, and structured analytical thinking.
+ Hands on expertise with modern data tools (Snowflake, SQL, Python, Power BI, Databricks, or equivalent).
+ Proven experience leading analytical teams and influencing senior leadership.
+ Strong skill in converting insights into action plans that improve performance.
+ Preferred
+ Experience embedding AI/ML into business processes or creating automated decision frameworks.
+ Background in supply chain, retail, logistics, or device lifecycle analytics.
+ Familiarity with 3PL, operational and inventory analytics, routing optimization, procurement planning, or financial forecasting.
+ Leadership Competencies

+ Ability to lead through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Our Assoc Director-Data Analysis earns between $158,200 - $237,400 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
