Job Description Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Intelligence and Analytics Lead for our Business Analytics & Insights initiative. This role is critical in transforming our data into actionable insights, centralizing data, standardizing KPIs, and leveraging advanced analytics to foster a data-driven culture within IQVIA. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple teams across the enterprise, including BI, advanced analytics, and data engineering teams. This position demands strong leadership, forward-thinking strategy and the ability to address complex challenges while promoting growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy: Drive the initiative by developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to centralize data, standardize KPIs, and leverage advanced analytics. Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure the successful implementation of the Business Analytics & Insights initiative.Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with senior stakeholders, including team leads, project managers, and high-level executives, to gather business inputs and ensure alignment with business needs. Communicate project progress, challenges, and successes to stakeholders.  Serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration to ensure successful project outcomes.Project Management: Manage the phased approach for data consolidation from various sources and ensure timely completion of project milestones. Utilize strong project management skills to coordinate multiple teams, manage budgets and ensure the project’s success.Data Management: Oversee the creation and coordination of a centralized data warehouse, ensuring data governance, curation, and standardization. Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all data sources.Advanced Analytics: Lead teams into the implementation of prescriptive and predictive analytics to provide actionable insights and support decision-making across various business units. Utilize advanced analytics techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Commercial Operations, Sales, OPEX, HR, and Marketing, to ensure alignment and smooth execution of the initiative. Coordinate development teams in BI, advanced analytics, and data engineering to achieve project goals.BI Development: Oversee the development and optimization of dashboards/reports using Power BI and other tools to provide consistent and accurate reporting. Ensure dashboards meet the needs of various stakeholders and provide valuable insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications - our ideal candidate will have:

Technical Expertise: Experience in BI development, data management, and/or advanced analytics. Experience with Snowflake infrastructure is a plus. Strong technical skills in data analysis, data visualization, database management and/or data modeling.Business Analysis: Strong business analysis skills, including stakeholder alignment, capturing requirements, and enhancing business understanding. Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.Project Management: Proven experience in managing large-scale data and analytics projects, with the ability to deliver based on requirements and timelines. Strong organizational and time management skills.Communication & Change Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Ability to present complex data and insights in a clear and concise manner.  Experience driving change management initiatives to facilitate the adoption of new technologies and processes across the organizationProblem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address data inconsistencies and process inefficiencies. Ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions.Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor a team, manage resources effectively, and drive strategic initiatives. Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate team members.Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within a large organization, preferably in the healthcare or technology industry. Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
