This position is responsible for creating, project managing and leading execution of marketing plans for national promotions, key initiatives, and the Clothing, Gift and Décor category. This role will work closely with TSC Merchants, TSC marketing partners and third-party agencies. Responsibilities include idea development and presentation for approval, marketing plan execution, cultivating productive relationships with merchant teams and external partners, achieving cross-functional alignment, recommending program optimizations, and budget tracking. This role will also support Marketing and Merchant leadership to develop annual promotional and messaging calendars and will be responsible for communicating them out.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%) Lead execution for marketing plans that leverage multiple channels to support the Clothing, Gift and Décor category. Channels may include: email, digital, social, POP/store environment, website, etc. Lead cross-functional teams, including internal and external partners, to plan, coordinate and execute support for national events, promotions and initiatives Prepare and present marketing proposals and reports to leadership Leverage vendor assets to amplify national marketing plans Partner with non-profit partners to evaluate, develop and propose sponsorship agreements and activate against agreed-upon plans Lead in-store space allocation and provide executional direction for in-store messaging, including in-store radio, posters, and exterior banners Manage to key metrics, including sales, budget, transactions, customer growth, etc. May perform other duties as assigned Required QualificationsExperience: 3-5 years marketing experience with project and/or event management. Retail marketing experience preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing, Advertising or equivalent preferred. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities Demonstrated skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word Understanding of the design/creative/production process is preferred Experience with multiple marketing channels, including digital, social, PR, CRM, in-store/POP, etc. is preferred Develops and persuasively communicates a point of view in a positive and collaborative way Demonstrates flexibility by handling many issues, items and functions at one time and by setting and prioritizing project tasks.
