The Materials Support III operates in the operational activities in the distribution center of parts of: receiving, storage, separation, packing and shipment of materials, using the forklift. Responsible for the physical counting of the cyclical inventory. Collaborates on continuous improvement projects.
YOUR IMPACT:
Make use of the internal system for order queries, inventory availability and analysis of parts movements.Performs the handling of loading, unloading, conference and storage of parts and materials in the distribution center.Performs the daily activities of part separation, final packing e dispatch of orders parts.Operates forklift and other equipment for material handling at the Parts Distribution Center.Responsible for the correct use of equipment, performing the check list and informing the person in charge of any identified failure.Responsible for cleaning and organizing the work area and materials of the distribution center.Participates in the activities and realizes the adequacies of the continuous improvement projects.Reporting to the person responsible the area occurrences or situations that may impact the work of the distribution center or other areas of the company.Ensure that the quality and safety of work processes remain within the standards established by the company.Performs related tasks.Other duties as assigned.Regular attendance is required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Complete High SchoolBasic knowledge of the office packageForklift CourseSTANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:
7 - 12 months’ work experience in logistics areaSix months or more experience with automotive parts and heavy equipment
