Perched on Level 12 of Hyatt Regency Sydney, Zephyr is a luxury sky bar that’s risen above the rest with unrivalled views across Darling Harbour. Zephyr is a 260-person capacity venue that offers a beverage selection that is approachable yet unique with guests being able to sip on the perfect cocktail or choose from a range of signature creations and holding one of Sydney’s most extensive spirit lists, Zephyr Sky Bar is proud to be Sydney’s favourite rooftop bars, awarded Hotel Bar of the Year in 2020, 2021 and 2022.

The Role:
In your role as Assistant Venue Manager, you will be supporting the Venue Manager through managing the day-to-day operations of both Bar and floor operations including being responsible for stock management and control, colleague rosters and training, service, maximizing profitability and most importantly, enhancing our guest experiences. The ideal candidate for this position must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong leadership and personnel management skills should be accompanied by a commitment to company values. You will pay close attention to all operational details to ensure the smooth running of the venue for our guests and our team, as well as the financial success of the establishment.
Our Ideal Candidate will possess:
Proven experience managing a high-volume cocktail bar
Outstanding technical wine, cocktail, spirit and food knowledge
Demonstrated experience with leading and coaching a team
Ability to provide professional customer serviceand providing elevated experiences
Excellent presentation and grooming
Strong communication, multitasking and problem-solving skills
Full working rights in Australia
Current RSA
Must be available to work on a flexible, rotating roster, including nights and weekends.
