Assistant to the CFO
Description We are looking for a dedicated Assistant to the CFO to provide vital support in financial operations and administrative tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth execution of financial processes and maintaining organizational efficiency. Located in Bangor, Pennsylvania, this position requires someone with strong attention to detail, bookkeeping skills, and experience in financial reporting. Responsibilities: • Offer direct administrative and operational support to the CFO, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. • Assist in preparing comprehensive financial reports, forecasts, and presentations for executive teams and external stakeholders. • Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes to align with organizational goals. • Analyze financial data and develop dashboards, summaries, and key performance indicators for review. • Support the management of banking relationships, audits, insurance renewals, and vendor negotiations. • Prepare and submit regulatory filings while ensuring adherence to financial compliance standards. • Track capital expenditures, fleet financing, and other major initiatives to monitor progress and financial impact. • Collaborate with departments such as HR, operations, and fleet management to gather relevant data and maintain alignment with financial objectives. • Manage calendars, organize meetings, and arrange travel schedules for the CFO. • Handle sensitive information with a high level of discretion and professionalism. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial software. • Strong skills in bank reconciliations and payroll processing. • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data accurately. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities. • Familiarity with regulatory filings and financial compliance. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments. • High degree of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
