Job Description: Assistant Technology Manager – Strategic Projects (Project North Star)
Project North Star is our high-stakes initiative designed to overhaul our core technological infrastructure and pivot the organization toward a future-ready, scalable ecosystem. We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented Assistant Technology Manager to serve as the connective tissue between our grand strategic vision and day-to-day technical execution.
As the "right hand" to the Senior Technology Manager, you won’t just be tracking tasks—you’ll be solving bottlenecks, translating complex requirements, and ensuring that North Star stays on its celestial path.
Key Responsibilities
Project Orchestration: Lead sub-workstreams of Project North Star, ensuring milestones are met on time and within scope.
Technical Translation: Act as a bridge between executive stakeholders and engineering teams, turning high-level business goals into actionable technical requirements.
Resource & Risk Management: Proactively identify technical "debt" or resource gaps that could derail timelines. Develop contingency plans before problems become crises.
Performance Tracking: Maintain project dashboards and KPIs. You’ll be responsible for reporting progress to the Steering Committee with clarity and candor.
Vendor & Partner Integration: Coordinate with external consultants and software vendors to ensure their deliverables align with our internal architecture.
