Assistant Technical Service Engineer

Insight Global is hiring an Assistant Technical Service Engineer for a client within the Semiconductor industry. This work will include but not limited to, installation and commissioning, troubleshooting / field rectification, service technical support and customer service.
Responsibilities:
· Assess and repair electrical or IT communication failures
· Support installation, commissioning activities, and field troubleshooting
· To train customers and new hire engineers the proper installation and field troubleshooting
· Provide service report on assigned task and daily repot for management
· To attend required safety training both internal and external prior to field entry
· Ensure and comply with healthy and safe work procedure. Monitor field service works comply with company/customer site policies & procedures.
· Communicate with customers about work time, fault repairs, and downtime, working to minimize customer wait time and maximize solution efficiency
· Maintain a good working relationship with clients, third-party contractors, and parts vendors
· Support Country manager in product sales
· All other ad-hoc duties assigned
