This position is in Cargill’s food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.

Shift: 1st shift (Mon-Fri from 6:00 am – 2:30 pm)
Pay range: $20.50/hr - 21.50/hr

Principal Accountabilities:

Weighing, packing, and labeling candy products as determined by printed work orders and/or component statementsDocumenting completed work orders and recording finished goods build dataInspect raw materials and verify product labeling to ensure accuracy and qualityRoutine inventory auditsOperating forkliftUse of scanners and computer as necessaryInteracting regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvementCoordinating and preparing work aligned with the supply and demand plan and production scheduleCollaborate during high-volume peak with different departmentsUnderstanding and adhering to all Cargill safety rules and regulationsMaintaining a safe and clean work environmentOther duties as assigned

Requirements:

Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorshipCargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production warehouse facilityAbility to work in varied indoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation​​​​​​​Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)​​​​​​​Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance noticeAbility to operate machinery and/or light industrial equipment with or without reasonable accommodationExperience in a production environment



Preferred:

Basic math skillsBasic computer skillsForklift experience operating both sit down and stand-up forklifts as well as electric hand jacksHigh school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience in a production environment ​​​​​​​Experience in a food manufacturing production environment
