Property & Asset Management | Assistant SurveyorAbout the Role
Surveying Services operates within the Property & Asset Management department, delivering industry-leading management services for client property estates. This role offers an excellent opportunity for property management professionals or recent graduates to advance their careers while contributing to our Centre of Excellence and maintaining strong client relationships.
Ideal Candidates:
Property administration experience or recent real estate graduatesKnowledge of lease terms and property management principlesStrong interest in pursuing a surveying careerExcellent organizational and communication skillsKey Responsibilities
Financial Management
Prepare service charge budgets and reconciliations with Facility Managers and Lead SurveyorApply tenant apportionments and review service charge pack documentationProcess invoice approvals and tenant demand checkingHandle ad hoc recharges and payment coordination with accounts teamSupport rates mitigation initiativesClient & Tenant Relations
Respond to tenant queries regarding service charges, rent, and insurance mattersOrganize and attend tenant meetings and occupier engagement activitiesAdvise on lease repairing obligations while promoting collaborative partnershipsAttend client meetings to present management reportsDeliver exceptional customer service to all stakeholdersProperty Management Support
Coordinate property and site presentation inspectionsAssist with licenses, wayleaves, and additional fee generationSupport sustainability reporting and client-specific initiativesCollaborate with PAM teams (Finance, IFM, Data) on surveying activitiesMaintain database accuracy with Data team coordinationReporting & Administration
Provide surveying input for client reportingSupport management report preparation and presentationEnsure compliance with client KPIs and service standardsLiaise with landlords, tenants, and internal teams as requiredEssential Skills & AttributesCommunication: Strong customer service skills with ability to engage clients and colleagues at all levelsOrganization: Excellent multitasking capabilities to manage multiple properties simultaneouslyAttention to Detail: Accuracy in financial processes and documentationRelationship Management: Ability to build and maintain professional relationshipsAdaptability: Flexibility to support various team requirements and client needs
