Role Summary 

 

As an Assistant Store Manager, you play a key role in creating exceptional consumer experiences and ensuring smooth daily store operations. You act as a visible leader on the sales floor, coaching and supporting team members while driving strong commercial performance. Together with the Store Manager, you secure compliant, engaging, and educational consumer journeys, high operational standards, and a positive, collaborative team culture. When the Store Manager is not on site, you take responsibility for leading the store and ensuring that everything runs efficiently. 

 

Main Accountabilities 

 

Welcome every visitor with warmth and high customer focus, offering support throughout the visit and do your best to understand the customer's needs by creating a personal, memorable experience, making visitors feel recognized and at home. 

Show strong passion for deep product knowledge, including product history, craftsmanship, composition, scents/flavors, functions, and key characteristics. 

Ensure excellent and compliant consumer journeys that convert visits into loyal relationships. 

Oversee daily retail operations, including stock management, merchandising, campaigns, and safety procedures. 

Lead, coach, and support the team on the sales floor, modelling best‑in‑class service and product expertise. 

Support training, onboarding, scheduling, and ways‑of‑working improvements in collaboration with the Store Manager. 

Monitor and report store KPIs, identify improvement opportunities, and propose actions to drive results. 

Act as the responsible leader on site when the Store Manager is absent and represent the store in internal and external meetings. 

 

Who You Are 

 

You have at least 3 years of retail or service experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibility. 

You are passionate about delivering outstanding consumer experiences and driving strong commercial results. 

You are structured, reliable, and confident working with operational tasks such as POS, inventory systems, and administrative routines. 

You are an inclusive communicator who builds trust, supports others’ growth, and contributes to a positive team environment. 

You stay composed in fast‑paced situations, solve problems proactively, and adapt quickly to change.
