Your ‘day to day’
As an Assistant Store Manager, you play a critical role in ensuring the boutique operates smoothly and delivers a premium, personalized consumer experience. You lead the daily rhythm of the boutique, guide the IQOS Experts on shift, solve operational challenges, and keep both the front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house running at high standards.
You ensure that every consumer receives an exceptional experience, the environment reflects our brand, and the team has the clarity and support they need to succeed.
This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone passionate about hospitality, premium service, and people leadership.
More specifically, you’ll
Lead and coordinate the work of IQOS Experts, ensuring clarity of tasks, strong collaboration, and consistently high service levels.Drive a consumer‑first culture by supporting premium consultations, post‑purchase care, troubleshooting, and clientelling to build long‑term relationships.Oversee daily boutique operations, including stock control, store presentation, product availability, POS activities, and adherence to retail processes.Serve as an on‑site escalation point for team or consumer issues, ensuring timely, empathetic, and effective resolution.Maintain an environment that reflects the brand: clean, organized, inviting, and aligned with retail visual standards.Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and operational guardrails, helping the team understand and apply them consistently.Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements in workflow, consumer experience, or operational processes.Step in as Store Manager when needed, giving you a great opportunity to grow your leadership skills and shape daily store performance.Contribute to the development of the “Delight the Consumer” strategy, ensuring PMI sets the tone in the market and consistently meets expected standards.Collaborate with internal partners (Infrastructure Manager, Ops Lead, boutique colleagues, etc.) to keep store operations aligned, effective, and compliant.Support with delivery coordination and installation services when needed.
Who we’re looking for
You’re a service‑driven leader who thrives in a boutique environment, someone who understands consumers, supports teams, and brings energy and empathy to every interaction. You enjoy structure, but you’re also comfortable navigating ambiguity in a busy, consumer‑facing environment.
Hard skills
Background in hospitality, retail, or high‑touch service environments.Experience leading or coordinating teams, preferably in a consumer‑facing setting.Strong operational understanding of boutique or retail processes (inventory, POS, routines).Fluency in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
Soft skills
Strong consumer focus with a passion for delivering exceptional service.Excellent communication and active listening skills.High empathy, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal maturity.Ability to work in fast‑paced environments, manage multiple demands, and remain composed.Strong relationship‑building skills.Self‑motivation, resilience, and readiness for a role that can be dynamic and demanding.
