D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an Assistant Sales Manager. The right candidate will support the Sales Manager in driving sales performance, customer experience, and operational excellence across the division. This role assists with coaching and developing sales teams, executing sales strategies, and ensuring consistent adherence to company policies, processes, and brand standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Support the Sales Manager in executing sales strategies to achieve sales goalsAssist with coaching, mentoring, and developing Sales Representatives to improve performance, product knowledge, and customer engagementMeet or exceed individual sales goalsAssist with scheduling, coverage, and workflow coordination of sales officesHelp monitor sales activity, traffic, conversion ratios, and contract performance, escalating trends or issues as neededReinforce consistent use of sales processes, CRM, and documentation standardsAssist with onboarding and training new sales team members on systems, processes, and selling best practicesSupport the execution of marketing initiatives, promotions, and model home presentation standardsServe as a point of contact for escalated customer concerns, assisting with resolution in coordination with sales, construction, and customer service teamsEnsure compliance with company policies, fair housing regulations, and applicable state and federal requirementsAssist with preparing sales reports, forecasts, and performance summariesConduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or related field preferredTwo to four years of experience in new home sales, real estate sales, or a related sales environmentProficiency with CRM systemsProven ability to coach, motivate, and support sales professionalsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to analyze sales data and identify performance trendsHigh level of organization and attention to detailStrong computer skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new programs/systems quickly is essentialAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applicationsAbility to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral visionThe noise level is generally moderate

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in a leadership, mentoring, or senior sales role preferredStrong understanding of the homebuilding sales process, from prospecting through contract and closing
