**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Resident Engineer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As an integral part of our construction engineering and management division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of various infrastructure projects in the region.
+ Assist the Resident Engineer in overseeing day-to-day construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
+ Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to coordinate work activities and resolve technical issues
+ Review and analyze project documents, including drawings, specifications, and contract documents
+ Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets
+ Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders
+ Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members
+ Assist in the review and approval of contractor submittals, RFIs, and payment applications
+ Support the development and implementation of innovative solutions to optimize project efficiency and performance
+ Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
+ Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
+ Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in construction engineering and management
+ Valid driver's license
+ Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality control practices
+ Proficiency in project management software and CAD tools
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
+ Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
+ Familiarity with local construction codes and practices in Abu Dhabi and the UAE
+ Goal-oriented mindset with a commitment to meeting project objectives
+ Adaptability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Professional Engineer License
+ Experience with a wide range of construction projects, including infrastructure and building construction
+ Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and LEED certification processes
+ Proficiency in Arabic (written and spoken)
