**Position Description**
The Assistant Research Technologist will work closely with the Principal Investigator to carry out data analysis and deep learning model development for projects in protein design.
**Here's What You'll Get To Do**
· Synthesize and curate datasets
· Define and implement metrics and test sets
· Evaluate existing models and baselines
· Implement and evaluate model changes
· Present findings in writing and presentations to the Principal Investigator
**Here's What You'll Need**
· Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Biology or a related field
· Strong analytical and organizational skills
· Strong written and spoken communication skills
· Python coding experience
· Experience with python deep learning packages
· Experience with molecular structure data is an asset
· An interest in molecular modelling and design
· A commitment to understanding and aiding in the pursuit of equity, diversity and inclusion objectives
**Employment Type:** 8-month contract. Full time; 35 hours per week
