The Assistant Regional Practice Administrator is responsible for the operational planning, implementation, and evaluation of assigned PCN and MPI physician practices under the direction of the MHR Regional Practice Administrator (RPM) or MHR Associate Executive Director.

The Assistant Regional Practice Administrator will be overseeing 36 staff memebers for the Neuroscience Department in Paramus and Clifton!

**​Neurology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

A day in the life of a Assistant Regional Practice Administrator at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

Provides effective leadership to practice managers to accomplish objectives. Maintains effective working relationships with Practice Managers and physicians. Ensures that managers are fully engaged in maximizing patient and staff satisfaction and financial performance of the practice. Plans effective and efficient use of physical, financial, and human resources in assigned areas. Works with RPM regarding volume driven modifications to staffing levels and operating costs. Works closely with Directors of Finance and Revenue Cycle Services. Assures registration and billing policies are implemented in each practice. Works with RPM to develop, implement, and monitor annual budgets and established financial indicators. In conjunction with RPM, conducts regularly scheduled physician practice reviews consisting of practice profit and loss statements, and physician and practice operating indicators.Manages the established practice strategies and day-to-day operational activities of assigned practices. Assists in developing practice management plans including recommendations for practice strategies and policies and procedures to promote MHR objectives and effective practice management. Works with physicians and managers to promote improvement in all areas of operations and implements process improvements as needed. Assists in recruitment of physicians and staff and development of new office sites. Obtains key start-up requirements including licenses, malpractice insurance, hospital privileges, and participation agreements. Other duties and/or projects as assigned. Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Bachelor's degree or Associates degree and five years Practice Management medical office experience in multiple practice locations. 3+ years experience with billing, revenue cycle management and budget management. 3+ years leadership experience in healthcare. Excellent organizational abilities with the ability to handle multiple priorities, and work in a challenging environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms. Ability to travel to any Hackensack Meridian Health location.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related health filedLeadership experience in healthcare - ambulatory/patient setting.

Compensation
Starting at $111,924.80 Annually

Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
