Job Description 

A&F Co. Assistant recruiter contributes to recruiting & hiring strategy for A&F Co.’s Global Home Office, primarily supporting our Brand & Product teams. They play a unique role in contributing to business growth by ensuring our teams have the right people to maximize the success of our portfolio of brands. They are responsible for full life cycle recruiting from open role through new hire experience for roles spanning a broad range of skills and departments. The recruiter develops targeted attraction strategies, delivers a best-in-class candidate experience, and leverages their skills in talent evaluation to bring the highest caliber talent to our teams. They leverage their natural curiosity to build a detailed understanding of the roles and can drive innovative staffing solutions to deliver results for even the most challenging roles. They are authentically able to share our unique employee value proposition with candidates and build strong relationships with internal and external partners. They are highly independent and able to work with cross-functional partners to drive results. This person is curious or skilled in all aspects of recruiting, including data, systems & processes, talent evaluation, training, employer branding, and candidate experience. This person has a passion for our brands, culture, and people and is a champion for bringing new perspectives to our A&F Co. family of brands.

What Will You Be Doing? 

Contribute to talent acquisition strategy at A&F Co.Manage full life-cycle recruiting process from open role through new hire on-boardingDevelop new and innovative attraction strategies that drive diverse, qualified talent to A&F Co.’s brandsTrack hiring metrics and market insights and share with A&F leadership; leverage data to inform market strategy and process improvementBuild a deep understanding of the ideal talent profile through strong relationships and alignment with Hiring Managers & HR Business PartnerDevelop proactive pipeline and sourcing strategies to deliver quality talent with speedCollaborate with cross functional HR teams to create offersContribute to employer branding strategy leveraging social media, job boards and other branding platforms Leverage advanced and creative sourcing techniques to discover top talent within complex searchesUnderstand and maximize use of recruiting technologies to drive efficiency and deliver top quality talentProvide a best-in-class candidate experience throughout the recruitment processSummarize and present candidate feedback and hiring recommendations to HRBP’s and business leadersProject manage and support ad hoc initiatives – employer branding, data & analytics, vendor management etc. 

 

What Do You Need To Bring? 

Bachelor’s Degree or related experienceExperience or related experience, working or recruiting for retail companies or product facing rolesStrong communication skills, both written and verbalEngaging personality with the ability to respond quickly and positively to change and ambiguityAbility to work independently, multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines and drive resultsProven ability to maintain a high volume of work with quality and speedOutstanding talent evaluation skills with proven successComfort in analyzing data, drawing conclusions and leveraging insights to develop innovative strategiesA collaborative approach to partnering with and gaining buy-in from cross-functional partners to achieve the vision of the brandAbility to review portfolios, design briefs, assessments, or projectsSuccessful track record in building and maintaining relationshipsPassion for recruitment technology, advertising and staffing solutions with ability to execute a test and learn approach to new investments Interest in retail, apparel, and having a pulse on our family of brands customer and marketPassion for retail and the Abercrombie & Fitch co. family of brandsExtreme curiosity & desire to learn Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate confidently to leadershipChampion a culture of belonging that values diversity in all its forms
