The Role
You'll support our Financial Management team with critical reporting and financial controls while engaging in structured learning and development opportunities. Working collaboratively with finance teams and surveyors, you'll help build strong relationships and resolve issues as they arise. Your contributions will be essential to establishing our team as an industry-leading "Centre of Excellence."
Key Responsibilities
Reporting and Financial Operations:
Support Trial Balance and VAT reporting requirementsCreate ad hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders including surveyors and solicitorsReview and reconcile tenant and landlord direct recoveriesAssist with property transaction mobilization and demobilizationHandle day-to-day client and occupier queriesSupport Property Accountants and Senior Property Accountants across team deliverablesFinancial Controls:
Monitor key performance indicators on client portfolios and ensure timely issue resolutionComplete control account reconciliations accurately and monitor funding levelsManage risk through compliance with company, accounting, and legislative proceduresIdentify and escalate problem areas promptlyPerform additional controls within our accredited control frameworkStakeholder Engagement:
Serve as day-to-day client contact for property portfolio operationsCollaborate with Surveyors, JLL Business Services finance teams, and other stakeholdersAttend internal and external meetings as requiredMaintain strong communication links with Property Accounting management, Accounts Receivable, Treasury & Control, Surveying, and other internal teamsWhat We're Looking For
Strong Excel proficiency (pivot tables, V-Lookups, X-Lookups, similar formulae)Working knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with team collaboration abilitiesFlexibility to work under pressure, multitask, and prioritize effectivelyStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlinesInitiative to resolve day-to-day issues independentlyAAT Level 3 qualification or equivalent, with aspirations for further studiesKnowledge of client systems (Yardi/MRI/Horizon) would be advantageousBenefits Package
