Your role

 

We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager who is seeking the right opportunity to level their skills in the municipal and developmental infrastructure services sector of our Toronto business unit. You bring previous experience in leading projects varying in scope and complexity in the delivery of municipal and private development infrastructure projects, including transit, development, utility, park, storm/wastewater and other infrastructure projects. You've become known as a trusted advisor to your clients and have built strong, lasting relationships with senior leaders and decision makers.

Deliver work in accordance with QMSDevelop expertise in deliverablesOn-site organization of contractors & consultants Qualifications 3-5 years of project management experience, representing owners in the delivery of transit, development, utility, park, storm/wastewater projectsFamiliarity with the design process, value engineering, and approvals necessary to proceed with construction close out/handover, and commissioning processes in a municipal settingStrong understanding of best practice Project Management methodologies and procedures within a PMO environmentEffective client and stakeholder management matched with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of client and technical issues.Detail oriented leader with the ability to work in a process driven environment.Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling (MS Project), word processing (Word) and spreadsheet (Excel) software applicationsPMP designation is an asset
