What this job involves:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Project Manager with expertise in both Civil Engineering and Interior Design to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery of both civil works and interior finishes. This role requires a unique blend of technical knowledge, design appreciation, and project management skills.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Assist the Project Manager in overseeing both civil engineering aspects and interior design elements of construction projects.Help develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans for civil and interior works.Coordinate with architects, engineers, designers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless integration of civil and interior components.Review and interpret civil engineering drawings, interior design plans, specifications, and other technical documents.Monitor progress of civil works and interior installations, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints.Assist in managing change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and submittals related to both civil and interior aspects of projects.Participate in site inspections to oversee civil works progress and interior finish quality.Help coordinate material procurement and delivery for both civil and interior elements.Assist in ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards for all aspects of the project.Support the preparation of progress reports, presentations, and other project documentation.Help manage relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and consultants involved in civil works and interior finishes.Assist in resolving technical issues and conflicts that arise during project execution.

 

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:

3-5 years expB.tech-Mechanical/Electrical/Civil

Required Skills and Experience:

Project planning and schedulingBudget management and cost controlRisk assessment and mitigationQuality control and assurance for both civil and interior worksStakeholder management and communicationTechnical document review and interpretationContract administration basicsProficiency in Microsoft Office suiteKnowledge of construction materials and methods for both civil and interior applicationsTime management and prioritization
