Responsibilities Complete year end info for team’s annual report for CARF.Complete comprehensive discharges summaries/discharge process.Prep ABI/Ortho charts for quarterly clinical record review- Follow up calls for 2 and 6 monthsFollow MaineCare authorization process:Complete prior approvals, start of care initially.Utilization reviews every 6 months thereafter.Requests for code changes when needed for program changes.Annual chart updates- HIPPA, maintenance letters, financial addendums, releases. Process medical records requests:Send release to records request (legal)Type invoice- once paid, send recordsGather requested records and fax/mailCall insurances for benefits info and type EOB-Monitor all insurances:Help track visits limits.Obtain continued authorizations throughout treatment (gathering needed documentation, faxing and then follow up for decision)Provide clinical services in compliance with licensure/certification, education/experience 25%-30% of working hours.Safety committee co-chair: call on any building needs related to safety, schedule van maintenance, make sure all annual reports are completed and overall safety tasks are done, monitor all safety. issues, incident reports, follow up with the timeline so we are compliant with all QA tasks.Monitor various trackers for loss of service, falls/medical incidents for PI report, skin integrity etc.Complete data dictionary tables on each patient at admission and discharge. (Enter on spreadsheet).Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Education, Experience and Certification

Associate Degree in Counseling, Rehabilitation, Social Work or other clinically oriented degree preferred.COTA or Experienced Neuro RehabTechnicianA minimum of two years in Program Manager Assistant post-acute rehabilitation.Experience providing and/or managing services in multiple setting for persons with brain injuries and other disabilities preferred.Maintains relevant professional licensure/registration/certification in the state of practice, if applicable.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Individual must have the ability to stand and work or have mobility through mechanical assistance.Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds.Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing.Primarily sedentary which requires stooping, bending, hearing, and vision in order to operate phone, computer and facsimile. About our Line of Business Robin Hill Farm, an affiliate of Rehab Without Walls, provides community-based cognitive rehabilitation for adults with brain injuries. Based upon the belief that no two brain injuries are alike, Robin Hill Farm has developed a continuum of care through six residential programs, so that each patient receives the best care based on their individual needs. Our programs offer residential treatment and can be considered a long-term alternative to institutional living, or a short-term step towards return to home.
