Responsibilities include: teaching courses in principles of economics, elective courses in the candidate’s field of expertise, and a research methods or statistics course. Additionally, the Assistant Professor would oversee yearlong Senior Research Projects. Candidates who also have an interest in teaching Financial Economics and/or Money and Banking, Environmental Economics or International Economics may be preferred. The SUNY Purchase economics department serves more than 100 majors and minors in economics.
