Eagle Ottawa Thailand (EOT) Finishing & Cutting plant construction has been newly completed in 2011, which is located in Rayong. There’re more than 600 employees in this plant.

Functional Job Activities

Activity 1:

Goal

1. Drive Yield Improvement and lead yield swarm;

Work with Engineering and Cutting to drive Yield improvement internally and share global best practices. Lead yield swarm regularly and ad hoc as per topic to identify and implement the improvement actions.  Leverage and share success with other plants. Managing the yield department data/ yield improvement action plan.

2. Training;

Training of cutting/chalking/inspection/Touch up operators.

Training effectiveness evaluation and Organize re-training.

3. Reporting of yield issues;

Feedback to hide suppliers/SQE, following up corrective actions.

4. Hide quality review and yield estimation from cutting

5. Daily Cut Piece Review to determine disposition and Yield Opportunities

6. System review of usage, quote issues, ticket processing.

7. Perform yield trials relating to different hides, layouts combinations, etc. Prepare and distribute.

    reports reflecting yield trends.

8. Establish and support written and verbal work instruction.

9. Fast time feedback communication to Cutting Manager of any abnormal condition on that require stop / hold on a process

10. Managing yield team workload and scheduling press support.

Activity 2:

Goal

1. Train yield Expert/ Develop Yield Expert / Touch up

2. Conduct daily meeting with yield team

3. Daily communication of top 5 by yield impact weekly Yield.

4. Report critical program and corrective action

5. Support Launch Programs to establish the yield

6. Analysis program with yield impact

7. Daily floor focus review inspection & rework communicate rejection.

8. Daily communication Leader/Supervisor and yield teams of finding.

9. Monitor the yield tracker sheet per press/programs

10. Daily Review hides for feedback condition

11. Monitor press with new employee.

12. AIR (action items ready to start) for future yield improvement.

13. MRB review

14. Ability to summary yield bridge report, attend daily yield bridge (ability to answer the question)

15. Manage the yield office / reports / data distribution

16. Managing maintenance updates / Trend for yield bridge

17. Review abnormal job tickets prior to cutting

18. Yield Audit & Yield Swarm

Activity 3:

Goal

1. Manufacturing Cutting Manager

2. Communicate with direct / indirect on a daily basis

3. Communication daily salary meeting with Leader / Yield Experts and Supervisors

4. Provide suggestion for yield improvements with Production Manager – Cutting

 

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in industrial Engineer or related field

2. At least 5 years manufacturing management experience with an automotive industry.

3.Strong communication and presentation skills

4. Profound experience with leather cutting, familiar with production procedure and quality standard and criteria of product. Cutting layout, NML etc.

5. Good leadership and good ability in analysis, setup Die Divisions and knowledge usage of Phantoms Fluent.

6. English in written and spoken.

7. Pass internal color test
