We are hiring an Assistant Production Manager for one of our clients a leading Glass Manufacturing company that is part of a major investment group in Dubai.

Note: Only candidates with a Glass Manufacturing background will be shortlisted.

Job Summary

The Assistant Production Manager is responsible for overseeing production planning, scheduling, material control, and inventory management. The role ensures optimal utilization of resources, adherence to quality standards, and timely delivery of finished products while driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement production plans based on machine capacity and material availability. Supervise daily production activities and ensure balanced workloads. Prepare and review daily and monthly production schedules and invoicing plans. Monitor and achieve production and invoicing targets. Manage inventory of finished goods and work-in-progress materials. Oversee material control and optimize the use of off-cuts and spare materials. Track delivery status and update performance reports regularly. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production, or Operations Management. Experience: 10–15 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in glass processing.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of glass processing and manufacturing operations. Proven leadership and team management abilities. Excellent planning, time management, and decision-making skills. Familiarity with ISO standards and safety procedures. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
