(Assistant) Product Manager
**Job Summary** In the pharmaceutical business at Abbott, this role supports the success of our ethical brands by driving the performance of assigned portfolios. Key responsibilities include issuing monthly proposed forecasts, developing promotional materials and marketing programs, supporting new product or line extension projects when applicable, creating training materials and conducting product training, and organizing academic and promotional activities for healthcare professionals. **Job Responsibilities** • Coordinate the development and execution of marketing strategies, advertising and promotion programs. • Analyze market trends, competitor activities and sales potential to identify opportunities and risks. • Review product performance by territory and customer segment and recommend adjustments to the marketing plan when needed. • Develop promotional materials and marketing programs in alignment with the cycle-based product promotion plan. • Drive strong execution through structured communication and collaboration with the sales team and other cross-functional stakeholders. • Maintain contact with key customers to understand their needs and support promotional initiatives. • Conduct field tests or market checks to evaluate promotional effectiveness and customer acceptance. • Identify marketing opportunities through routine joint visits with the field force. • Provide technical and academic product information to support the field force in effective promotion and competitive handling. • Develop training materials and conduct refresher training courses for the field force. • Evaluate new product opportunities presented by the Region, based on market size, competitor activity, and prescribing behaviors across channels. • Support new product or line extension projects when applicable, including launch preparation and aligned marketing activities. • Communicate with headquarters regarding product developments, marketing programs, and updates. • Support the development and execution of multi-channel engagement platforms to enhance customer reach. • Report any product quality complaints and adverse events to Quality Assurance and the Affiliate Safety Representative in accordance with SOPs.   **Requirements: Education and Experience** • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related disciplines. • At least 3 years of product management, marketing experience preferably in pharmaceutical industry with exposure to ethical products. • Ability to develop innovative marketing strategies to drive sales growth. • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve business challenges and work under pressure. • Strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation. • Passion for the business and willingness to go for extra mile. • Good communication skills in English and Chinese are preferred. • Candidates with less experience may be considered as Assistant Product Manager if they demonstrate strong learning agility, marketing capability, and clear potential to grow into full PM responsibilities.
