As Assistant Principal, you’ll partner with the Building Principal to lead a year-round special education program serving students with complex needs, including autism and developmental, behavioral, and psychiatric challenges. On our scenic, therapeutic campus, you’ll guide staff, support students, and strengthen family partnerships in a role that blends leadership, instructional support, and case management.
ResponsibilitiesYour Impact:
Support daily school operations in collaboration with the Building PrincipalLead special education case management, including IEP development and complianceSupervise, mentor, and evaluate paraeducators and support staffFoster a safe, structured, and supportive learning environmentBuild strong communication with families, guardians, and community partnersOversee scheduling, student placement, and daily school operationsServe as acting administrator when the Building Principal is unavailable QualificationsYou’re a Great Fit If You:
Have at least 3 years of teaching experience and a NH Teaching Credential (Experienced Educator)Bring a strong background in special education (NHDOE certification preferred)Have experience with students with severe autism or in residential/alternative settingsAre skilled in staff supervision and developmentThrive in collaborative leadership roles and student-centered environmentsWhy You’ll Love It Here:
