Assistant Portfolio Manager, Liability Driven Investment (LDI)
This is a great role for a portfolio manager to join our LDI team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing LDI portfolios for our insurance and pensions clients, which will involve designing and implementing structured derivative strategies.
A bit about the job:
We are a global asset manager that combines our insurance heritage, investment capabilities and sustainability expertise to deliver wealth and retirement outcomes that matter most to investors.
As the asset management business of one of the UK’s largest insurers, fixed income is in our DNA. Our experience spans across fixed income, from developed to emerging markets, investment grade to high yield and liquidity strategies. In addition to pooled strategies, we offer bespoke solutions to cater to individual client needs. Our insurance heritage makes us a natural partner for clients looking for consistent returns and enhanced capital preservation through market cycles.
This role is based in London, within our LDI team. You will be a lead portfolio manager on LDI portfolios and support the design and implementation of structured derivative strategies for our existing clients. In addition, you will support a range of other complementary mandates managed by the team as a co-portfolio manager. You will work collaboratively with other portfolio managers, research analysts, the Investment Solutions team and the trading teams.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Previous LDI portfolio management experience.
Experience of managing hedging portfolios for insurance clients, or working within asset-liability management teams, would be a benefit.
